Lisa Ann Walter played Chessy in The Parent Trap
The 1998 version of The Parent Trap is one of the most iconic films of all time. Starring Lindsay Lohan as Annie and Hallie, Natasha Richardson as Elizabeth James, and Dennis Quaid as Nicholas Parker, the film was a huge hit when it premiered and has truly carved out a special place in pop culture.
Chessy is one of the most beloved characters in the film. Both Hallie’s nanny and butler Martin’s eventual love interest, her warmth and relatability had all of our childhood selves wishing we had someone like her in our lives.
Fun fact: Walter and Elaine Hendrix, who plays evil golddigger Meredith Blake, were enemies in the movie but have actually remained close friends in real life for the past several decades!
