One of the most ever-expanding universes in television is that of The CW’s Arrowverse. Each show, regardless of its titular hero, has been stuffed with iconic and wonderful characters since it was introduced in 2012. How each person spends their time is like snowflakes because everyone prefers something completely different. Since you’re here, though, it’s a safe bet that television takes up a lot of time during our days.

Although some folks prefer to do something alone and others prefer to do it with a partner, some companionship is necessary for one’s life. That is why this holiday can be beloved by any person, regardless of your love language, aesthetic, or attachment style. Even though superheroes and romance do not go explicitly hand in hand, it’s hard to argue these 14 Arrowverse characters are perfect dates on February 14th.

14. Sara Lance (various Arrowverse shows)

If someone had said that Sara Lance, the same woman who betrayed her sister and went on a yacht to party from 2012, would be a flagbearer for the Arrowverse and in a loving marriage, it would be hard to be credible. However, since her introduction, Sara Lance has grown into a complex woman of many talents, and being a great romantic partner is definitely one. Lance has also proven to be the perfect partner if you are looking for someone who can be prim and proper but also badass and naughty when in private. Although she and Ava look to be endgame, getting a partner who is an homage to Sara Lance would be a great choice.

13. Mon-El (Supergirl)

The trope of genuine forbidden love is one that is rare because of how divisive it is. The story of Mon-El in Supergirl is beautiful, both in front of and behind the camera, so seeing his character being forced away was heartbreaking, regardless of how understandable it was. Between his introduction and forced exile, audiences witnessed how wonderful Mon-El was as a romantic partner to the titular hero. The work that Mon-El put into making sure his partner was happy and felt loved is why one would be lucky to score a date with this alien.
