14 Arrowverse characters we want as our Valentines this February
6. Kara Zor-El (Supergirl)
If Oliver Queen is the original patriarch of the Arrowverse, then Kara Zor-El easily holds the moniker of the matriarch. Similar to her Kryptonian cousin, Kara has a lot of midwestern charm to her, which makes her stand out as an innocent soul in the metropolitan locale of National City. Throughout her titular show’s run, audiences witnessed how pure-hearted the Last Daughter of Krypton is. Also, due to her respective partnerships with Jimmy Olsen and Mon-El, audiences were given a look into the romantic side of the Girl of Steel — and what a side it was.
5. Curtis Holt (Arrow)
Curtis Holt was a character that came out of nowhere in Arrow but quickly became a household favorite. A huge part of his meteoric rise was due to the undying adorableness Echo Kellum brings to his role. Viewers had their heartbroken when his marriage fell apart because of his vigilantism around the city. However, considering the fact that Curtis was able to keep a good head on his shoulders throughout the divorce and eventually find new love, it is hard to argue his ability to be a strong partner — as long as you understand some nights Curtis will be away.
4. Ray Palmer (various Arrowverse shows)
This entry is very much influenced by the amount of natural charm and amazing acting Brandon Routh brings to every one of his roles. Ray Palmer was the first minor character to truly stand out due to the dichotomy he has of being a rich tech billionaire but also a decent humanitarian who cares about inspiring the next great inventor. His ability to see the good in people regardless of their past is easily the best quality for anyone to have to be regarded as a good person, and Ray Palmer is the perfect personification of being compassionate.
