When will filming begin for Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 3?
With two seasons already established, Netflix’s romance Regency drama Bridgerton is showing no signs of stopping. Season 3 has already been given the green light and everyone wants to know what will happen, when will it arrive to Netflix, and if filming has even started.
Firstly, according to Parade who shared a tweet posted to Twitter, season 3 will begin filming in June 2022 possibly ending in January 2023. If that is the case, we shouldn’t expect season 3 to air until at least next year.
As to what will happen in season 3, that remains an intriguing mystery. If the series were to follow the books written by Julia Quinn, Benedict would be the next Bridgerton child to find love.
For the past two seasons Benedict has been struggling to find himself but seemed to have found a passion in art and poetry. His love life on the other hand ranged from a short fling with Genevieve Delacroix of the Modiste to the more recently nude model and fellow artist Tessa.
When will Bridgerton season 3 begin filming?
Although his love life wasn’t nearly as complicated as Anthony’s was back in season one, we have to admit he’s had his fair share of fun. But does this mean he’s ready to settle down?
Season 3 could instead focus on Colin Bridgerton and whether or not he will finally see Penelope Featherington as more than a devoted friend. The complication of their relationship could be amplified since Colin’s sister and Penelope ex-best friend Eloise is aware of Penelope’s secret.
The good news is, according to the same article, Bridgerton season 4 will be happening, “In 2020, he (series showrunner Chris Van Dusen) told Collider, “I feel like the first season was primarily about Daphne and her love story with Simon. But, this being a family of eight children and there being eight books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings. For each character, for sure.”
