The biggest question on everyone’s mind is whether or not we’ve seen the last of Marc Spector and Steven Grant on the Disney Plus and Marvel Studios series, Moon Knight? The six-episode season concluded not even a week ago but we’re left wondering; is this the end of the Khonshu warrior?

For some time, there has been debate over whether this would be a limited series or not. The story had a well-written and perfectly executed conclusion with the addition of a spectacular end-credit scene that introduced Marc Spector’s third personality, Jake Lockley.

While Arthur Harrow has been killed, which also means Ammit is no longer a threat, this doesn’t mean Marc’s time as Moon Knight is over. Or at least the title of Moon Knight is now solely bestowed upon Jake.

The trouble is a second season or even continuation to film has not been confirmed nor denied. Thus, brewing a little confusion.

Have we seen the last of Moon Knight?

When speaking with IGN regarding Marvel’s upcoming slate of originals including recent hit Moon Knight, Feige weighed in on the prospect of shows running more than one season. As referenced by Toms Guide, “Some of the shows that I mentioned that we’re about to start filming, we are keeping in mind a structure that would lead into a season two and a season three in a more direct way, than, say, a show like WandaVision, which clearly goes into a feature, but it is new.”

But then we also have this quote from Oscar Isaac (Marc Spector/Steven Grant/Jake Lockley/Moon Knight) who spoke to RadioTimes.com “There’s definitely no official plans to continue it. I think it would depend on what the story is.” With all the fandom surrounding the series, it wouldn’t be surprising if all initial plans to keep Moon Knight as a limited series changes.

This was a very successful television series and something fans who were both familiar and not with Moon Knight really gravitated to. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more, but until an official statement is made, we can only hope we’ll see more of Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, Steven Grant and Jake Lockley!
