Whether you are familiar with Star Wars or not, one of the most recognizable characters is former Jedi padawan, Togruta Ahsoka Tano. While she has appeared in several television series including Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian season 2, she will soon have her own series titled Star Wars: Ahsoka.

While she is not a Jedi, she is force-sensitive and wields two lightsabers. She is powerful and was able to connect with Grogu in ways Mandalorian Din Djarin was unable to.

Ahsoka played by Rosario Dawson in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett will be reprising the role. In both shows on Disney Plus, Ahsoka appears as wise, calm, and loyal.

It’s almost hard to imagine how she’s able to remain so, considering her history is extensive. If you want a full scope of her life from her childhood to being Anakin Skywalker’s padawan to her current status and friendship with Luke Skywalker, you can read it all on her Wookieepedia page.

What will the Star Wars: Ahsoka series be about?

Now in regard to the Star Wars: Ahsoka series, the Disney Wiki page states that audiences will see Anakin Skywalker, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Sabine Wren. Hayden Christensen will be reprising the iconic role once again.

The series has begun filming but there is no official release date yet. This will also be a limited series so unfortunately it will not have a season 2.

The series according to Rotten Tomatoes will be taking place about five years after the film The Return of the Jedi. We’ve already seen a galaxy post-Empire and unfortunately things haven’t returned completely to normal.

Stormtroopers still roam about, citizens are trying to recover and just think, this is all before The First Order and Kylo-Ren shows up! We look forward to hearing more updates about Star Wars: Ahsoka but in the meantime you can get your fill of Star Wars material and entertainment on Disney Plus.
