What will be Benedict’s role in Bridgerton Season 3?
Fairly recently news broke that Bridgerton season 3 will focus on Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. This was quite a shock considering Julia Quinn’s book An Offer from a Gentleman, has Benedict Bridgerton finding love next.
While we are very excited to find out if Penelope and Colin finally become a couple, we can’t help but wonder about the second Bridgerton child. The Netflix series has managed to devote adequate time to the several other Bridgerton children, even if they are not the main characters.
Benedict, in particular, was portrayed as levelheaded, humorous, and managed to find himself through art and poetry. He’s creative, thoughtful, and has managed to sweep a few women off their feet.
Season 2 paired him and fellow artist and nude model Tessa however the fine print of their relationship remained a mystery. Were they simply having fun or were there deeper emotions at play?
Will Benedict find love as well in Bridgerton season 3?
Unfortunately, by the season 2 finale audiences are left in the dark about what the future holds for him. He left the Royal Academy of Art, feeling defeated after discovering Anthony had made a major donation to the academy.
Although Benedict is talented, he believes he didn’t earn his spot. Does this mean we’ll be watching Benedict trying to find himself in season 3?
This would be an interesting route as Benedict always appeared confident, relaxed and practically the glue that held everyone together. Nothing seemed to frazzle him.
But now that he’s lost his love for his one passion in life, will he simply meander about where Anthony will need to step up and be there for him? Perhaps this moment of uncertainty is what will lead Benedict to meeting and falling in love?
Like every character we’ve met thus far on Bridgerton, we hope Benedict’s luck changes for the better in season 3. We’ll also be quite curious as to which lady will catch his eye and become his future bride.
