Is there a possible Stranger Things spinoff on the horizon?

The long-awaited and desperately missed Stranger Things season 4 Volume 1 will be arriving to Netflix this Friday, May 27. Volume 2 won’t be arriving until Friday, July 1.

Even still, fans are very excited to see what happens next to Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max as once again it appears something evil and strange is about to emerge. Over the course of three seasons, the addictive show created by Matt and Ross Duffer has incorporated the things we know and love from 80’s films and horror and created something new.

Add to it, there have been many characters we’ve come to love and lose but thankfully Jim Hopper is returning! With all of this anticipation to see what happens next, a spinoff might be the last thing anyone would expect!

AV Club shared the following, “Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed they were developing a new project in the Stranger Things universe in an emailed interview with Variety.”

What will the Stranger Things spin-off be about?

A spin-off has been considered however the Duffer brothers have yet to actually start writing it. While we may be confused as to what this spinoff could be about, actor Finn Wolfhard (Mike) already figured it out!

“In a letter to fans posted on the streamer’s blog, the Duffers promised to wrap up the “tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends” but promised that “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.””
