The newest season of Stranger Things is approaching fast – fast, as in, only one day. Like the rest of the world, we are mega excited to see what season 4 is going to unpack.

Only one more day as we prepare ourselves for hours of binge-watching with our blankets, snacks, and possibly tissues. When I say tissues, I mean, get ready to cry folks because we might just be seeing our favorite characters meet their final end.

As we all know, Stranger Things has been no stranger when it comes to character deaths. Last season, we witnessed Billy Hargrove, Max’s older brother, meet his demise while fighting for his life against the mind flayer.

The season prior, we had to see poor Bob Newby, Joyce’s former boyfriend, meet his VERY sad and tragic end. Now Jim Hopper would’ve been a part of this ongoing list but as we saw from the latest teasers, he’s alive – but locked up by Russians.

Which characters do you hope will survive Stranger Things season 4?

So, yay! But also, not-so-yay because he’s being tortured – welp.

Anywho, our beloved protagonists, including Mike, Eleven, Will, Lucas, Dustin, Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan have stayed strong with us for four seasons now. And like every other show, there comes a time when one or a few of the show’s protagonists may not make it ’til the end of the line.

While we have lost a few members of the Stranger Things fam, so far, they have only been antagonists that have been prominent to the protagonists’ stories. We have yet to see one of our favorite main characters bite the bullet.

Fans have been expressing concern, but also, speculating, on social media, days before leading up to the show’s release. Some already have a few theories on who is going to be next on Netflix’s hit list.

Do you think our favorites will make it to the last season? These characters have been a part of fans’ lives for six years now.

I feel they are bound to be disappointed if they see one of their favorite characters die.  I certainly hope to see everyone survive.

What do you guys think? Drop your theories below in the comments!
