Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 release date has been revealed
Let’s be honest, we miss Mandalorian Din Djarin. When the Disney Plus original series The Mandalorian season 2 wrapped up with glory and tears, we wanted to know when we’d see Mando again in the Star Wars universe.
We didn’t have to wait long as Din Djarin, Grogu, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Cobb Vanth, and Ahsoka Tano all made surprise appearances in several episodes of The Book of Boba Fett. The good news is, Mando and Grogu are reunited, Cobb Vanth survives, and Boba Fett can continue his reign hopefully without further issue.
The bad news, Din Djarin is not recognized as a Mandalorian anymore. This is also problematic considering he hasn’t told anyone and the search for actual Mandalorians is proving to be futile.
Does this mean he’ll continue to live by the Mandalorian creed and rules? Where does the story go from here?
When does Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 3 air on Disney Plus?
Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long to find out! Yesterday the official The Mandalorian Twitter page posted this tweet:

There a few things worth noting here. Season 3 will be arriving on Disney Plus in February 2023, both Din Djarin and Grogu are featured on the poster of what appears to be a sunrise, and the tweet insinuates that season 3 will not be the final season!
How many more seasons of The Mandalorian will there be? We don’t know but, that only means there is more of the story to be explored and experienced.
Even with Din Djarin’s story continuing into The Book of Boba Fett, there are still several plot points that have yet to be resolved. We can assume Mando will still be struggling with the Darksaber, we have yet to receive solid confirmation as to whether or not Moff Gideon is serving time behind bars and how will Grogu’s decision to choose Mando over his Jedi training affect the story moving forward?
