When does The Walking Dead spinoff Tales of The Walking Dead air?
We can confirm that AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff Tales of The Walking Dead has an official release date! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 14!
Airing at 9 PM on both AMC and AMC+, the six-episode spinoff will be focusing on characters both new and familiar. Olivia Munn, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Samantha Morton, Loan Chabanol, and Jillian Bell are just some of the many actors joining the large cast.
What’s more, is that AMC also released photos which you can view in the Deadline article here. Some might recognize Samantha Morton, who played Alpha, leader of The Whisperers, from the series of shared photos.
Will we be learning how she became the leader of the deadly walker skin-wearing group? Will we perhaps see what her life was like before the apocalypse began?
The Walking Dead spin-off Tales of The Walking Dead will be airing on AMC and AMC+ in August!
Will the new characters survive and somehow connect to future Walking Dead spinoffs or will their deaths somehow affect the story? We’re hoping for some connection to explain why walkers are somehow evolving as we saw in The Walking Dead: World Beyond series finale.

Gimple and showrunner Channing Powell, the latter a writer and producer on The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.” We’re excited to see The Walking Dead universe expand and wonder just what stories will be told.
