What is the upcoming Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law about?
As Ms. Marvel season 1 begins on Disney Plus today, June 8, we won’t have to wait too long for the next Marvel Studios series on the streaming platform. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on Disney Plus Wednesday, August 17.
She-Hulk, also known as Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) like nearly every Marvel character has a long history in the comic book world. But just who is she outside of being The Hulk, Bruce Banner’s cousin?
Let’s start with the basics. She-Hulk first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #1 in 1980.
After getting shot she gets a blood transfusion from Bruce and the result is her new green skin appearance and super strength. She doesn’t however struggle with her humanity like her cousin did.
What will happen in the Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?
Throughout the years she’s been immersed in many Marvel comics and stories. She became an Avenger, a member of the Fantastic Four, took part in Civil War (basically Captain America: Civil War from 2016), and as we see in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer, becomes a lawyer and representing the superheroes.
Getting back to the upcoming series, Jennifer will need to juggle her social life as well which may or may not have improved thanks to her new powers. Even though the trailer revealed Abomination (Tim Roth), we can’t help but wonder how many other Marvel characters we might see.
Will Jennifer be working a specific case regarding Abomination or someone else? While we may think Abomination could be a possible contender for the villain of the Disney Plus series, Jameela Jamil (The Good Place, DuckTales) has been cast as Titania, She-Hulk’s arch nemesis.
