What can we expect from Ms. Marvel season 1 episode 2?

The Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel aired its first episode last Wednesday, establishing Kamala Khan as our main character and future Ms. Marvel. The Muslim American high school student comes from a loving yet old-fashioned family who doesn’t understand her deep interest in the Avengers and more specifically Captain Marvel.

Thankfully Kamala has her best friend Bruno, who not only understands her but shares common interests. He even helps her create her very own Captain Marvel cosplay for the upcoming AvengerCon.

Kamala’s costume looks fantastic, but she adds detailed cuffs she received from her grandmother in Pakistan. These cuffs suddenly enable her to use cosmic energy she struggles to control.

By the end of the episode, Kamala and Bruno are confused as to what kind of power she now possesses. Not to mention someone from the government saw a video of Kamala at AvengerCon using the cosmic energy.

This ending makes us wonder what will happen in the next episode. Thankfully we do not have to wait long thanks to the Disney+ Twitter account posting the following clip:

In the clip we can see Kamala attempting to control her new cosmic energy powers while seemingly unable to control how she sees the world around her. When she first puts on the cuffs in episode 1, her eyes flash purple and seems to transport somewhere else before returning to the present.

Is she seeing where the energy is coming from? Thankfully Bruno and Kamala may have found a lead when they discover either Arabic or Urdu writing on the cuffs.

Could this mean we may find out where these cuffs come from and how her grandmother possessed them to begin with? Will Kamala be able to control her new powers by the end of episode 2?

We’ll just have to wait until the new episode drops tomorrow to find out!
