How will the Jonathan/Nancy/Steve love triangle conclude?

Speaking of reunited, after Nancy and Jonathan spent 99% of this season avoiding one another. It was funny and awkward watching the two lovers interact once again.

They both have confided in folks that something might be off within their relationship, so expect that to come into play next season.

On top of that, Steve Harrington has really turned himself around and improved his character since Nancy rightfully broke up with him. Throughout Stranger Things season 4, Nancy and Steve were crossing the line of friendly banter and romantic flirting so that door is clearly not completely shut.

How are Will’s true feelings going to be received?

One of the biggest talking points following this season, besides singer Kate Bush, was the clues that Will Byers is gay and has a crush on his longtime friend Mike. While some viewers doubted these clues, Noah Schnapp himself confirmed his character is indeed gay.

While this is in no way groundbreaking, it is safe to assume that the Duffer Brothers will make this detail important given that the show’s location is in the Midwest and in the time of the 1980s. In the grand scheme of things, one kid’s sexuality is not that big of a deal when another dimension is infecting your own, but Indianans are also not known for their tolerance.
