How does Jennifer become She-Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has aired its first episode on Disney Plus and audiences learn quite quickly how our main character becomes the green superhero. As with most Marvel adaptations, some details about heroes and villains are often changed.
Lawyer Jennifer Walters does not become She-Hulk through a blood transfusion but rather through accidental contact with her cousin, Bruce Banner’s blood. In the first episode, the two get into a car crash due to a spacecraft.
In the process, Bruce’s blood drips into one of Jennifer’s wounds which immediately turns her into a Hulk creature. This quick process is permanent, meaning Jennifer will have to learn how to tame and use her new strength and form.
She quickly learns how to balance her two forms, regardless of the fact she refuses to be a superhero and instead wants to focus on her career. Her hopes were to keep the incident a secret, only allowing Bruce, her family and best friend Nikki know.
What did you think about the change in She-Hulk’s origin on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?
But by the end of the episode, it seems there will be times where She-Hulk will need to be present. Not to mention her secret is now out for the whole world to see.
What we’re curious about is, could this happen again? The episode implied it won’t, but how can, we be sure?
Is it possible that is Jennifer gets harmed causing her blood mixes with another, creating the same situation again? We’re curious if this will be addressed further during the season.
The next episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will air on Disney Plus on August 25.
