Fans of both Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Amazon Prime’s The Boys rejoice! The Walking Dead star will be joining The Boys season 4!

It’s no secret that Morgan has been interested in joining The Boys cast. For some time, fans wondered if he’d make an appearance in season 3 but, unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

Fans did get to watch the likes of Laurie Holden, Jensen Ackles, and Sean Patrick Flanery, portraying new supes. We discussed the possibility of Morgan joining season 4 several months ago on Show Snob and today we have official confirmation!

Morgan typed several tweets confirming this to be true. As we can imagine he is probably just as excited as The Boys cast!

Who will Jeffrey Dean Morgan be playing in The Boys season 4?

According to Collider, “The Boys aren’t being as forthcoming about who Morgan will be playing in the upcoming season, but he has been cast in a recurring role.” Morgan’s arrival to the series could not have come at a better time as Homelander’s insanity, let’s call it, is getting worse.

Having crazed fans who worship you regardless of what you do doesn’t help either. Morgan could easily portray another crazed superhero or become the hero The Boys need to take down Homelander.

The Boys season 4 has begun filming which leads us to believe Morgan will join them after filming for the previously named Isle of the Dead, now The Walking Dead: Dead City concludes. Currently Dead City has been filming in several New Jersey locations, since July.

We’re curious, how do you feel about Jeffrey Dean Morgan joining The Boys?
