In a world like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it’s strange to see the superhero’s family, right? If we look at Marvel, some superheroes lost their parents at a young age, others are taken from their families, and some have some severe family drama.

It’s often why heroes like The Avengers function as a family themselves. They create this dynamic where they can be with others who share more similarities than differences.

She-Hulk isn’t any different, at least when it comes to the family drama aspect. In a newly released clip for season 1 episode 2 of the series, Jennifer attends the dreaded, family dinner.

She has barely arrived and already one family member makes the comment she’s been fired.  Fired?

Jennifer finds herself at an unavoidable family dinner in new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law clip.

She-Hulk? What?

Then her mother attempts to set her up with someone she hasn’t even met, even going as far as providing her phone number. Yikes!

Even though Jennifer’s father attempts to talk about something else, which involves Avenger Hawkeye, it doesn’t stop the flood of constant comments and unwanted attention. How did Jennifer get into this situation and where is Bruce to get her out of it?!

As frustrating it was to watch Jennifer being placed in such a position, it is relatable. Almost everyone has an awkward and uncomfortable family dinner once in a while.

They are unavoidable. But we’re curious as to what happened to cause Jennifer’s termination.

What will she do now? Will she learn to embrace She-Hulk?
