When will the Wednesday series premiere on Netflix?

The official teaser for Wednesday brought in over 8 million views on YouTube. This tells us that a lot of people are excited about the upcoming Netflix series.

Over the course of two minutes, we find Wednesday, the eldest Addams child, living amongst normal society, seeking revenge in clever and dark ways. That is until her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams, decide to send her to Nevermore Academy.

It is there that Wednesday can thrive but is there more to the academy than meets the eye? Surely Wednesday Addams will be a name and face Nevermore Academy will never forget.

But when will the series air? How many episodes are there?

What can we expect from the upcoming Netflix series Wednesday?

Who is in the cast? Thankfully What’s on Netflix is sharing those answers.

Ironically Wednesday will not be airing in October but November 2022. For some that can be a bummer as Halloween will have passed.

For others it’s a great way to keep the spirit of spooky season alive a little longer. Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin, You), is playing the role of Wednesday Addams in the eight-episode series, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane and Thora Birch.

Christina Ricci has joined the cast, but her role remains unknown. The last time we spoke about Wednesday we were trying to find out if Uncle Fester Addams would be appearing in the series.
