When does The Walking Dead: Dead City premiere on AMC?
The Walking Dead: Dead City officially has a release date! The Walking Dead spinoff, set in post-apocalyptic New York City has been filming in New Jersey since the end of July.
Various locations and sets have been used, with glimpses of what’s to come shared on social media. Official first-look images have been released, revealing Maggie’s hatred for Negan is far from over.
The two seem to continue to be at odds, for reasons we assume will be answered at some point during the final episodes of The Walking Dead season 11. For now, we can enjoy the living artwork that is these images, shared for the first time during New York Comic-Con 2022.
For the lucky few who were able to attend the convention and the panel, they were treated to the images. Nothing major has been revealed about the spinoff so we are left wondering and theorizing.
Are Maggie and Negan enemies again in the upcoming spinoff The Walking Dead: Dead City?
Collider did share that the spinoff will air in April 2023 on AMC. Which means we predict the official trailer will most likely be released at least a month or two prior.
Alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan are the acting talents of Mahina Napoleon, Aixa Kendrick and Gaius Charles. What kind of world or environment will Negan and Maggie find themselves in?
Where are Maggie’s son Hershel and Negan’s wife Annie? Will Dead City have more than one season?
How will this set up the likes of the Daryl Dixon and Rick & Michonne spinoffs? We’ll have to wait and see a little while longer.
In the meantime, you can watch the final episodes of The Walking Dead on AMC.
