Fru Fru’s life is one giant reality TV show, based on The Real Housewives series from our world. She’s got a camera crew, her friends, and everything she could ever want.

Everything seems to be going great as she recently got engaged. However, as she’s deciding to choose to be her Maid of Honor, her cousin Tru Tru arrives.

It seems when they were children Fru Fru promised that Tru Tru would be her Maid of Honor. Trouble is Tru Tru is taking over all of the wedding planning.

Annoyed, Fru Fru and her friends leave to try on wedding dresses. When Tru Tru arrives with a dress for her, Fru Fru freaks out.

They squabble, causing Tru Tru to leave. As Fru Fru and her friends go shopping to calm down, she is almost crushed by a giant donut.

Judy saves her and compliments her hair. Fru Fru has a moment and finds her cousin.

The two make peace where it is revealed Tru Tru was giving Fru Fru her mother’s wedding dress. The day of the wedding arrives however the use of a certain flower in the bouquet causes Fru Fru’s bridal party to go wild.

Zootopia+ Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2 review

The first thing I need to address is the title. It’s simple but it doesn’t really feel like a title.

It just seems rather flat. Title aside, episodes 1 and 2 were fun, especially episode 2.

We see Fru Fru for a few moments in Zootopia, yet we don’t know much about her. We get to learn more about her in probably the most hilarious way.

Making her the star of her own reality show is perfection! I thought it was incredibly clever and really emphasizes how similar the world of Zootopia is to our own.

Both episodes do end on a positive note, with a lesson or moral to be told. Episode 1 reminds us how through teamwork anything can be achieved.

Episode 2 reminds us that those who know us best are our family. Both episodes were relatively quick and easy to watch, as they told two different stories with lots of laughs and love!
