Will Penelope be successful in finding love in Bridgerton season 3?
Bridgerton does not want the fans to forget that season 3 will prove to be Penelope’s season. However, after the dramatic conclusion of season 2, we are a little perplexed as to how this will happen.
To sum everything up as best as possible, Penelope Featherington has been revealed to be the mysterious Lady Whistledown. Unfortunately for her, her best friend Eloise Bridgerton discovers this and the two end their friendship.
To make matters worse for Penelope, her secret love, Colin Bridgerton, remains oblivious to her feelings for him. He regards Penelope as a true friend who has stuck by him and even wrote him letters while he was traveling abroad.
Colin has yet to uncover Penelope’s secret which includes her meddling in splitting him and Marina up by revealing her secret pregnancy in season 1. So then how is it that Penelope and Colin will become romantically involved without her secrets being unveiled?
How will Colin and Penelope fall in love in Bridgerton season 3?
If her secrets are told will Colin still love her? Colin has proved to be bitter and downright rash when he’s angered or insulted.
Will he act as such with the woman who may become his future wife? Will Eloise tell Colin everything to prevent her brother from marrying Penelope?
All of this makes for a very complicated and compelling story for season 3. However, the official Bridgerton Instagram account seems certain that Penelope will have a successful social season.
From what we’ve seen of Penelope in past seasons she had attended several parties but always remained on the sidelines where she would gather juicy gossip, she’d later use for her Lady Whistledown papers that the ton devours with fervor. Perhaps she’ll not only catch Colin’s eye but another suitor which will add more stakes to the relationship.
The release date for Bridgerton season 3 remains unknown but we’re hoping that will not be the case much longer. In the meantime, catch up on seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix.
