Actor Chandler Riggs will forever be known as Carl Grimes from AMC’s The Walking Dead. For several seasons, Riggs played the son of the main character Rick Grimes, as he and others try to survive in the walker (zombie) apocalypse.

His departure was nonetheless difficult for many fans of the show who saw Carl as the future, for when his father and closest friends wouldn’t be around anymore. His exit was hard for many to comprehend, especially considering he died getting bit while trying to save Siddiq, who would later suffer a pointless death.

Seriously, why? Recently, Riggs appeared in The Walking Dead series finale as a background character at a newly restored Hilltop.

But what is next for the actor? How about a voice acting role as the one and only Superman?

What is Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead’s new role in Justice League x RWBY?

Yes, Chandler Riggs will be voicing Superman/Clark Kent in the upcoming animated film Justice League x RWBY, also known as, Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part One. For those unfamiliar with RWBY, it is “an American-made computer-animated series produced by Rooster Teeth. Originally released on YouTube before finding a home on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video, the series follows four girls who are part of a training academy that prepares them to battle monsters called Grimm who threaten the world.”

We’re intrigued! While we haven’t found an official confirmation as to what the film is about, it does sound like the film will be released next year. Will you be watching Justice League x RWBY?
