Hawkeye Jeremy Renner suffers injury in snowplow accident
Unfortunately, 2023 is not starting off as a great year for some. Over the weekend, fans of Jeremy Renner, known for his roles in Hawkeye, Avengers: Endgame, Tag, and The Hurt Locker, learned of some distressing news.
On Sunday, January 1, Renner suffered injuries in a snowplow accident in Reno, Nevada. Details as to how the accident exactly happened currently remain a mystery.
Although many theories have surfaced. According to TMZ, Renner, “suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and underwent surgery Monday, and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
Thankfully for Renner, his neighbors were there to help. “According to a neighbor, the plowing machine — called a Snowcat — accidentally ran over one of Jeremy’s legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. We’re told another neighbor, who’s a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived.”

The news shocked Renner’s fanbase and those he’s worked with before, including fellow Hawkeye castmate Hailee Steinfeld, who posted the following tweet:
