Fans of The Walking Dead will recognize the name, Michael Cudlitz. He played the foul-mouthed, humorous, and walker-killing machine Abraham Ford, who met his end along with sweetheart Glenn at the hands of Negan and his barb-wired bat Lucille.

Cudlitz had an impressive run on the AMC series, that didn’t shy away from killing off popular and well-loved characters. He, Rosita, and Eugene wind up meeting Rick and the group, while on their way to Washington, D.C.

At the time, Eugene claimed to know how to end the walker apocalypse, but of course, this wound up being a big lie. Since Cudlitz’s time on The Walking Dead, he has starred in several television shows such as The Kids Are Alright and Clarice.

What’s next? How about the role of Lex Luthor in season 3 of Superman & Lois?

How will Michael Cudlitz from The Walking Dead be portraying Lex Luthor in Superman & Lois?

Yes, Cudlitz is diving into the DC world by playing possibly Superman AKA: Clark Kent’s worst enemy. Fans of the DC supervillain have seen several iterations of him from Gene Hackman to Michael Rosenbaum and even Jesse Einsenberg who more so played a Lex Luthor Jr.

EW shared some details about this version of Lex Luthor, “According to the official character description, Cudlitz’s Lex Luthor is known to the world as the visionary billionaire behind LexCorp, but secretly, the criminal underworld knows who Lex truly is: a brutal psychopath who terrorizes anyone he crosses paths with.”

What could this mean for Clark, Lois and their sons? How will Lex Luthor change the game for Superman & Lois?

Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long to find out as Superman & Lois season 3 airs on The CW March 14.
