“I heard a rumor” about when The Umbrella Academy will begin filming season 4

There is no doubt that The Umbrella Academy is one of the wackiest, most thrilling, and unique television shows on Netflix. For those unfamiliar, the series follows a group of characters who were all born, seemingly at random, on the same day.

Seven of these babies were taken by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who in turn, trained and taught them how to use their abilities. Naturally, the family is one dysfunctional bunch with daddy issues and a whole lot of unresolved traumas.

A common theme each season is the siblings trying to prevent the apocalypse while also facing different foes and learning more about why they were chosen by Hargreeves in the first place. It doesn’t take long for audiences to realize Hargreeves is far from father of the year.

But as expected, all good things must come to an end. The fourth season of The Umbrella Academy will be its last, which means fans are expecting the final season to deliver.

When will The Umbrella Academy season 4 begin filming?

Even though season 3 had its oddities and moments that made your brain hurt, it didn’t have the same vibe as seasons prior. It ended with a lot of questions that need to be answered promptly.

Luckily for us, we’ve heard a rumor on Twitter that filming for season 4 will begin on February 6. It is also rumored that the final season will only consist of 6 episodes.

If this is true, it’s a little disheartening as seasons1-3 were all 10 episodes long. Regardless, we cannot wait to see if this rumor is true and what filming updates we’ll get along the way!
