Moon Knight: Will Marc/Steven/Jake be returning to the MCU?
What is the status of Moon Knight? That has been the question on our minds for some time.
The Disney Plus series will have aired nearly a year ago, yet there hasn’t been any official confirmation about a season 2, or news about when we’ll be seeing Marc/Steven/Jake again in the MCU. Several months ago, a viral TikTok video revealed Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) with screenwriter and director Mohamed Diab in Cairo, Egypt.
But they did not say why they were there. Aside from that, there was a rumor about season 2 arriving in the MCU Phase 6.
The Direct, is basing this rumor upon a Marvel Studios Spoilers Reddit page, that unfortunately doesn’t seem to be available to view anymore. However, they did suggest that “should season 2 of Moon Knight be set to arrive before Avengers 6, the latest it could release would most likely be in Spring 2026, meaning it would go into production no later than early 2025.”
Will Moon Knight return to the MCU in Phase 6?
If that is the case, we still have awhile to go before we receive any word on the matter. Moon Knight season 1 ended with Marc and Steven agreeing not to kill Arthur Harrow as Khonshu demanded.
Instead, they wanted to free from Khonshu’s debt to which he agreed. However, that didn’t seem to stop Marc’s third identity, Jake from possibly finishing the job.
His arrival could mean trouble for Marc and Steven. The show ended with so many questions that needed to be answered but at the same time, concluded to near perfection.
