The Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story teaser trailer has arrived!

After waiting for what feels like ages, we finally have, not only the official teaser trailer for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, but the release date! The teaser, running almost a minute long, is mostly silence and classical music.

We catch glimpses of the future Queen Charlotte and the possibly already King George meeting and interacting (in both public and private), as the weight of the situation becomes clear. The precursor, Netflix’s Bridgerton, had hinted several times that people of color in the ton were not always this well established and admired.

It seems it was the marriage of Charlotte to King George that changed everything for them for the better. In the teaser for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, it seems all the pressure is on the future Queen to be as such.

Even though we, as the audience, can tell that George is warm, kind and loving, the world of the spinoff knows that any royal marriage can seize to be. Pressure is always placed on the woman of these relationships.

The importance of Charlotte in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

She must consummate the marriage, bear children, and keep her husband happy. It will be interesting to see the two young loves overcome judgment, gossip and outside influences so that their marriage can thrive.

But there is no doubt that Charlotte will rise to the occasion and overcome all obstacles. We cannot wait to watch this spinoff in the coming months!
