Fans of Emma Corrin will be pleased to know that the actress has joined the Deadpool 3 cast! While Corrin has had roles before playing Lady Diana Spencer in the Netflix series The Crown, it is her role as the heartwarming and selfless Princess Diana that truly made her stand out among the rest.

Since then, she has been busy winning awards and obtaining roles in several projects such as Anna X and My Policeman. But now it seems she’ll be donning a villainous outfit for the next Deadpool film, which will include the return of X-Men alumni Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

It will be interesting to see who her character is and what exactly will take place as the ending of Deadpool 2 revealed Wade’s power trip of going back in time. He not only saves his true love Vanessa from death, but singlehandedly destroys any amount of evidence of his atrocious Deadpool character from 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

He does all this and more, while Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time plays in the background. Naturally.

What role will Emma Corrin have in Deadpool 3?

But there is another reason fans should be excited for the next installment in the Deadpool film franchise. According to Deadline, “This will mark the first Deadpool film in which Marvel Studios will work hand in hand with Reynolds and Team Deadpool. Feige’s involvement comes after he helped revamp the Spider-Man franchise when he came on to help in the creative effort for that Sony series.”

So, does this mean the Deadpool of the past films will be different, the same, or perhaps better? What are your expectations for Deadpool 3?

Do you think this means that Deadpool will officially become part of the MCU?
