What happens in The Walking Dead: Dead City new teaser?

If we’re honest, Negan and Maggie never had it easy on The Walking Dead. Aside from their less-than-stellar past with each other, it may actually be for the best that they are the ones who team up in The Walking Dead: Dead City. The previously named Isle of the Dead, will be airing on AMC in June.

As much as we love getting even the smallest glimpses into this Walking Dead spinoff, the wait feels like forever. Luckily, the newly released teaser didn’t leave fans empty-handed.

Though quick, the teaser makes it quickly evident that Maggie’s son, Hershel Jr. has been kidnapped. In order to save the only person Maggie truly has left in her world, she’ll need Negan’s help.

Naturally, trouble is drawn to Negan like a magnet, as it seems he’s a wanted man. Add to it, some very eerie and unsavory new characters, walkers practically falling from the sky and a lot of scary night scenes, and we got ourselves some answers to the multitude of questions.

What questions remain about The Walking Dead: Dead City?

The spinoff, like the currently filming “Summit” (Rick and Michonne spinoff) was filmed mostly in New Jersey. Even with the leaked photos, videos, and personal filming experiences, it has become rather difficult to discern what is going on.

Will Dead City have more than one season? Will this spinoff somehow connect to other Walking Dead spinoffs (both currently filming and ones yet to even make it to the writer’s room)?

Until we can gather more insight, we will take any amount of content that we can. We’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open for further Dead City news and share our findings.
