Actor Ben Daniels has joined AMC’s Interview with the Vampire as a series regular. The recent reboot of Anne Rice’s novel tells the story of vampires Louis de Pointe du Lac, Lestat de Lioncourt, and Claudia.
Their lives are anything but ordinary, as they often battle themselves and their life choices. The book was originally turned into a famous movie from 1994 that starred Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst.
Ben Daniels will be playing the role of “Santiago, the leading vamp thespian of the Theatre des Vampires who grows increasingly suspicious of the American vampires Louis and Claudia.” The second season is set in Prague with Mark Johnson and Rolin Jones producing.
Daniels will be joining the stellar cast which includes Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Bailey Bass, Eric Bogosian, and Assad Zaman, as one of the main characters. For the moment, there does not seem to be a release date Interview with the Vampire season 2.
With filming is expected to finish in August, therefore it appears that the release date could be either later this year or early 2024.

Ben Daniels is no stranger to starring in popular shows, having a vast list of credits under his name now to back him up through his experience. The new Interview with the Vampire star just wrapped up filming the second season of Apple’s Foundation, starring Lee Pace and Jared Harris.
The star is known for his other TV roles in The Exorcist, The Crown, Flesh and Bone, Jesus Christ Superstar, and movie roles like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Captive State.
