Disney+: Writers Megan McDonnell and Peter Cameron join Vision Quest
Is there going to be a WandaVision spinoff, starring Vision or not? Well according to rumors, the answer is yes, and the title may be called Vision Quest.
According to The Direct, “there has been a plethora of rumors about Disney+’s Vision series, such as its cast of Vision-related characters from the comics and its filming start date, which should come sometime in 2024.” Regardless of how viewers felt about WandaVision, the series finale opened up a lot of possibilities for spinoffs, which seem to include Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Wanda’s hopes and dreams are brutally crushed, which includes her husband Vision and children Billy and Tommy. But are they truly gone?
What of White Vision? Where and how does this affect the MCU going forward, outside of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
Two new writers join Vision Quest
We’re hoping these questions will be answered in the near future. In regard to Vision Quest, two writers have been added to the writers’ room; Megan McDonnell and Peter Cameron.
Both McDonnell and Cameron are already familiar with the source material having credits in two WandaVision episodes each! On top of that, McDonnell will be working on Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Cameron worked on Moon Knight.
If Vision Quest continues as supposedly planned, we’re curious to see how Vision’s story continues or possibly begins. We find it plausible that White Vision could become the new version of Vision, as many new MCU characters are taking up the mantles of ones prior (for example Captain America and Iron Man).
What are your expectations for Vision Quest? While we wait for more details, refresh your memory of the events that occurred in WandaVision, by watching season 1 on Disney Plus.
