Blood of Zeus: Pros, cons and who would enjoy it

One of the show’s strengths is its animation, which is both visually stunning and thematically appropriate for a series based on Greek mythology. The character designs are intricate and unique.

The action sequences are dynamic and fluid, creating a sense of excitement and energy. Additionally, the show’s color palette is rich and vibrant, giving each scene a sense of depth and dimension.

Another strength of Blood of Zeus is its character development. The main character, Heron, is a relatable and likable hero, with a strong sense of justice and a desire to do what is right.

The supporting cast is also well-crafted, with each character having their own unique backstory and motivations. For example, the god Hermes is portrayed as a charming and mischievous character, while the goddess Hera is shown to be cunning and manipulative.

One weakness of the show, however, is its pacing. At times, the plot can feel rushed or underdeveloped, with certain events happening too quickly or without sufficient explanation. Additionally, the show’s reliance on clichéd tropes and character archetypes can feel predictable or unoriginal at times.

Overall, Blood of Zeus is a well-crafted series that has many strengths and weaknesses. Its animation and character development are highlights of the show, but its pacing and reliance on tropes can detract from the overall experience.

Ultimately, viewers who are fans of Greek mythology, anime-style animation and action-adventure genres are likely to enjoy Blood of Zeus.

When will Blood of Zeus Season 2 be released?

There is currently only one season of Blood of Zeus, which was released on October 27, 2020. However, a second season has been announced, but there is no official release date yet.

According to Looper, Blood of Zeus was announced in March 2019, as an anime series based on legends of Greek mythology. However, despite being based on Greek mythology, the series was made outside of Japan and therefore cannot be technically classified as anime.

“American company Powerhouse Animation Studios combined with South Korean studios Mua Film and Hanho Heung-Up to bring the series to life.” Blood of Zeus was eventually released on Netflix in late 2020, but fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a second season.

Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement from Netflix regarding the release date of season 2. Powerhouse has been working on another series for Netflix, Castlevania: Nocturne, which “already has a teaser, indicating that it’s in front of Blood of Zeus season 2 in the development queue.”

There has yet to be a confirmed release date for Castlevania: Nocturne, although a summer 2023 release seems likely. If this is true, we don’t expect Blood of Zeus season 2 to arrive until 2024 at the earliest.

Fans will have to wait for an official announcement from Netflix for more information on the season 2 release date.
