The feeling of resolution is all too familiar as Fear the Walking Dead is coming closer to its premiere day of May 14. For those AMC Plus subscribers, you will be able to watch on May 11. Season 8 will be split up between two sets of six episodes.

Morgan and Madison’s efforts go awry to rescue Mo from PADRE. How long will it take for Morgan to get his daughter back? So many questions will have to become answered between now and the final episode.

Will FTWD play it as safe as The Walking Dead and allow us to see others join the upcoming spinoffs for the future of TWDU or will we get one hell of a season to remember and go out with a bang?

Morgan is a man who has been through hell and back and came out on the other side. From the trailer it looks like he regrets running and doesn’t want others to make the same mistakes he has. Can he heal from that and go back and fix his past discretions in order to move on?

The most exciting part of the trailer is seeing Morgan back in Kings County. A place where he lost but gained so much. A place where he ultimately met Rick Grimes. We see him picking up the gun that Rick gave him and Grace telling him that Rick gave it to him, use it. Their daughter Mo tells him this is his second chance. To do things right. A Rick name-drop was definitely not expected this early on but it’s one that’s going to have fans of both TWDU shows on the edge of their seats.

That is the newest teaser to date. One thing is for sure we are looking forward to all of Madison’s reunions with Alicia hopefully, Strand, and of course Daniel. FTWD has to give fans that satisfaction. With Rick Grimes, we never got to see the elusive reunions we’ve been waiting to see for years in the final episode of The Walking Dead. It will be great to see Madison get that before the curtains close.

The last time we saw Mo she was just a baby, now there has been a seven-year time jump. It’s going to be very intriguing to see what has become of everyone in all these years. What timeline Fear is in relation to The Walking Dead? Perhaps the two worlds can collide at some point in the future. Only time will tell.
