New Secret Invasion ad begs the question: Who can you trust?

Secret Invasion may be a little over a month away, but that is not stopping the growing anticipation. The upcoming Disney Plus Marvel show has hinted several times, at the fact that several people on our planet are not even human.

If they are not human, who or what are they? Given the little bit fans can gather from the trailer, it seems as though Skrulls, or an alien lifeform with similar abilities, has been living amongst the general public undetected.

Are they everyday suburbanites or members of the government? We don’t know but Nick Fury is about to find out.

The trailer hints that he may have been preparing for such an event as this, given his weapons stash in a cemetery mausoleum. But the situation might be even worse than he expected as the usual, funny man Talos, could not be more serious.

What is the new Secret Invasion ad hinting at?

Even he seems to be in grave danger from this dangerous alien race. In the new Secret Invasion ad from the official Marvel Studios Twitter account, it reveals that fans should expect several characters in the show to be aliens.

Surely that doesn’t mean Nick Fury, but could it possibly be referencing Emilia Clark or Olivia Colman’s characters? This will probably result in a plot twist in the show somewhere, but for now we’ll keep our theories to ourselves.

We look forward to learning more about this darker and grittier Marvel show and how it will affect future Marvel stories. Will this somehow connect to The Marvels?
