Will The Walking Dead: Dead City premiere early on AMC+?

For some fans, June 18 cannot come fast enough. For others, they might not have to wait as long to watch the premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City.

If you are lucky enough to have AMC+, the first of many Walking Dead spinoffs will be airing early on June 15. But for the rest of us, we will have to wait to watch once the series finale of Fear the Walking Dead concludes on June 18 at 10PM ET.

Dead City, once titled Isle of the Dead, brings about the return of Negan and Maggie, both of whom seemed to have come to terms with their pasts, and moved on with their lives upon the series finale of The Walking Dead. However, upon the reveal of the official trailer, Maggie seems to have sought Negan out due to one man: The Croat.

He has some mysterious history with Negan and just so happens to be the man who kidnapped Maggie’s son, Hershel. Thus, the duo will be venturing into a walker-ridden Manhattan, where the citizens have to zipline in order to get around and avoid the very gruesome walker residents below.

The Walking Dead: Dead City isn’t the only Walking Dead spinoff that filmed in New Jersey

While some survivors will become allies, others will become threats, as Maggie and Negan will be forced to help each other on this dangerous mission. The spinoff filmed in several New Jersey locations, including the Meadowlands Arena.

The Rick and Michonne spinoff, assumably titled Summit, also filmed in New Jersey. The Daryl Dixon spinoff filmed in France, where it remains unconfirmed if filming for season 2 has already begun.
