Which actor from The Walking Dead is starring Apple TV+ Silo?
Currently, only four episodes of the Apple TV+ sci-fi show Silo have aired. Already audiences are thrust into a post-apocalyptic world, where the survivors live in underground silos without any explanation as to why or how.
Two murders have occurred, already being swept under the rug, involving our main protagonist, Juliette, the new sheriff. She already lost her secret boyfriend George, who seems to have a lot of relics (illegal items) from the past and may have been onto something big.
When Mayor Jahns refuses to let Judicial and Bernard from IT pick the next sheriff, she mysteriously dies too. Amidst all this confusion and growing chaos, Juliette is trying to find her place as the new sheriff, when she meets Lukas one evening in the cafeteria.
If you are a fan of AMC’s The Walking Dead, you’d recognize that this as Avi Nash, the actor who played Alexandria’s doctor, Siddiq. On the AMC series, Siddiq was rescued from walkers by Carl, who in the process got bit and later died.
The Walking Dead’s Avi Nash joins Apple TV+ Silo
Siddiq became the community doctor, who was very both knowledgeable and strong willed. However, he, like all characters who fit into the medical field mold, was unnecessarily killed off in season 10 by Whisperer infiltrator Dante.
This is after he has a brief fling with Rosita and becoming a father to their baby girl, Coco. What’s worse is Rosita finds walker Siddiq, forcibly killing him.
Rest assured Dante got his by Father Gabriel. Even though Siddiq’s death was going to happen regardless of how fans felt about his character, (again, if you are in the medical field, you are as good as dead on this show), it still broke hearts to see him go out the way that he did.
From one post-apocalyptic show to another, Nash is back and this time, thankfully, isn’t a doctor! He actually works in IT, which may come in handy as Bernard is beginning act rather shifty lately.
Let’s just hope Lukas has a better fate than Siddiq.
