It appears the most highly anticipated return of The Walking Dead universe is over. Melissa McBride seems to have made her return to France to film alongside Norman Reedus.

Fans have been rejoicing all over social media over the return of the Queen of the apocalypse. This jubilation has made it sensationally evident that Carol Peletier really is the most beloved character.

The world was heartbroken when circumstances led to McBride not being able to be a part of France and the then Carol and Daryl spinoff. France was logistically not feasible for her at the time but now it seems to be the opposite!

Widely known as The Walking Dead’s best actress, she’s back joining Reedus for season 2 of the Daryl Dixon spinoff. It begs the question how much longer they can now call it the Daryl Dixon show?

Was Melissa McBride spotted on the Daryl Dixon spinoff set?

Both Melissa and Norman will reprise their roles in this new and exciting French adventure for TWDU. They are two characters who share the most deep and heartwarming bond the zombie show has to offer.

They are known as the most popular ship of the series. Regardless of how you feel about that, having Daryl and Carol back on screen together is nothing short of amazing, comical, and one bad$%^ dynamic duo that will make a huge impact on France and everywhere else they go.

There has yet to be an official announcement from AMC, but in fairness they still have not announced Daryl Dixon season 2, which has been assumingly filming for quite some months now. The spinoff will be highlighting some of France’s most beautiful locations.

One thing we already know is the visuals of this spinoff will be spectacular. Now with Carol back in rightful spot alongside Daryl, the sky is the limit for what these two can do.

Though I think most knew the separation wouldn’t last too long. These two characters struggle mightily without each other.

They are still immensely connected even with an ocean between them. So much so that it looks as if Carol has crossed an entire continent because she sensed Daryl was in trouble.

When you have that type of an intimate connection as soulmates you know when something is wrong. It will be very interesting to see how Carol makes her way to France compared to Daryl.

Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus look to be in all smiles in this photo taken from some French fans on set. The two actors who are well known as the best of friends in real life, seem to be living their best lives out in France.

It’s beautiful for the fans to see as they have waited a year for the moment to arrive. There has been speculation for months that Melissa has been in France.

After some hinting from crew members, now we can safely say McBride is very much in France. Seeing the two of them having so much fun, like old times, is the early Christmas gift we’ve been waiting on.

The first season of the Daryl Dixon show will highlight how Daryl made his way across France. At this point in filming, it looks as if Carol and Daryl are very much back together.

Here we see them walking across a bridge in this short clip. It definitely brings back all the vibes of “Consumed” and we know how The Walking Dead loves to do their parallels.

We will have to anxiously wait for the reunion that is going to happen on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Given, that is going to be such a heavily intimate and groundbreaking scene they have probably filmed that in private.

McBride and Reedus have always shared the best chemistry on the show and Carol and Daryl share a relationship that is the centerpiece of The Walking Dead. They are soulmates in every sense of the word and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

Bound together by the traumatic abuse of their pasts, they grew to become the show’s most popular pairing. You will not see another duo on television as unique as these two.

Between the cinematography, savage fighting skills, humor, love, and connection of these two heroes this show will be bound to be a showstopper!
