Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story HCA TV Awards Streaming Edition nominations

Award season is just beginning as the 2023 HCA TV Awards Streaming Edition nominees have been released! Amongst the competition, we’re over the moon to see Netflix’s Bridgerton spinoff Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story amongst the nominees.

Queen Charlotte told the story of how the future King and Queen of England met and fell in love. Naturally, this love story was anything but perfect, however, the duo made it work on their terms.

Both Charlotte and George were stubborn and loyal to each other and their own opinions. Although George’s mental state adds a very tragic element to the show, it is Charlotte’s unwavering dedication to her marriage and George himself, that makes their love story one for the ages.

How many HCA TV Awards Streaming Edition nominations did Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story receive?

In fact, their complicated love story lasts as far into the future as Bridgerton, where even as George’s mental state continues to deteriorate, Charlotte will always be there and always love him. Even if their marriage has slowly became a rather lonely one for Charlotte.

For this year’s HCA TV Awards Streaming Edition, Queen Charlotte received the following nominations:

• Best Streaming Drama Series
• Best Actress in a Streaming Drama Series

Would we have loved to have seen Corey Mylchreest (King George) nominated alongside India Ria Amarteifio (Queen Charlotte)? Absolutely!

We are hoping he will be recognized for his spectacular performance in another TV award show. While we wish the best of luck to all the nominees, we are rooting for Queen Charlotte to bring home the trophies!
