Will we see Kate and Anthony in Bridgerton season 3?

The big question of whether Kate and Anthony will be returning for season 3 of Bridgerton may have been answered. And it all thanks to Nicola Coughlan!

Coughlan who plays Penelope Featherington on the hit period piece Netflix drama, recently revealed some Kanthony news while speaking with beauty influencer Cat Quinn. According to Cinema Blend, Coughlan has been quoted saying, “Married Kate is so beautiful. It’s a whole new side. For Kanthony this year, seeing them married is so cute, it’s adorable. They still have their dynamic, but to see them married, I think the fans are going to freak.”

For those who need a refresher, Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma were the focus of Bridgerton season 2. While Anthony only wanted to marry for duty, fearing love due to the heartbreak his mother suffered at the death of his father, Kate was already considered an old maid, struggling to believe a man was honest and true with his intentions.

The two were equally stubborn and passionate with themselves and their beliefs, but together they had a fiery attraction that couldn’t be broken. Even if it meant causing a scandal in the very ton.

Seems Kate and Anthony will return for Bridgerton season 3

By the end of the season the two are happily married, seemingly with no complaints. Their frustrations with each other seemed to melt away but that hasn’t stopped the obvious bond they’ve made.

Now as we creep towards Bridgerton season 3, which has yet to have a release date, the story will focus on a new couple: Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. It’s understandable that with them being the focus, past couples like Daphne and Simon and Kate and Anthony would take a backseat.

However, it does sound like fans will get to see Kate and Anthony once more as a married couple. Will they still be undeniably in love with each other?
