Charlie opens up about the severe impact of the bullying, how it caused him pain, and led him to hurt himself. Nick, taken aback and saddened, supports Charlie and pledges his unwavering presence by his side.

As the night comes to an end, Nick kisses Charlie goodnight and watches him leave. Charlie seems reassured by Nick’s words, but he hesitates before sending a text that says “I love you.”
