King Uther is heartbroken over Mordred’s death and blames Arthur for the ambush. He fears for the kingdom’s future now that the legitimate heir is gone.

One night, Owain discovers Derfel and offers to train him. However, their peace is disrupted when King Gundleus of Siluria arrives at Caer Cadarn, seeking an audience with the king. This encounter reveals shocking secrets.
