Is Percy Hynes White from Netflix’s Wednesday returning for season 2?

For those who were Team Xavier on Netflix’s Wednesday, there might be some changes coming for the character in season 2. As one of Wednesday’s potential love interests, Xavier and Wednesday didn’t always have a great connection as their vast differences constantly pulled them apart.

Not to mention Wednesday’s undeniable compatibility with Tyler, (until that went south) and her overall confidence that Xavier was the monster wreaking havoc and killing innocent civilians. All the same, Xavier was an interesting character, who may or may not have finally caught Wednesday’s attention in a non-drama-filled way.

But his fate might now be up in the air for season 2 due to a rumor about Percy Hynes White. Hynes White, who plays Xavier, according to Metro, might not be appearing in season 2.

This is due to the accusations of sexual misconduct, that circulated the internet way back in January. Netflix has yet to confirm or deny the matter as, “the ongoing strikes in Hollywood have meant no decision on casting for the next season has been made.”

But what can this mean for Xavier once the strikes are over? Will he be recast?

Will he be written off the show entirely? Wednesday’s season 1 finale left a lot of room for potenial for season 2.

Wednesday is finally connecting with her family, the monster mystery is solved, Nevermore Academy is saved, a true happy-ish ending, right? But that doesn’t mean more creatures can’t reveal themselves and another Addams mystery won’t come to light.

Not to mention Wednesday’s closure with Tyler is somewhat unresolved as he was, unwillingly, a Hyde monster. But that doesn’t mean his human side is completely gone.
