In the season premiere of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon we left off with Daryl making a deal with Isabelle, the leader of the Union of Hope. Even though he is reluctant throughout the first episode, he ultimately decides to help deliver Laurent to The Nest in exchange for a boat ride back home to The Commonwealth.

Daryl was never hesitant about his clear stance with Isabelle, considering her issues in France were not his problem. He was very adamant about his will to return home and fulfill the plans he made.

Currently, we do not know what those plans are. There is a moment when he leaves Isabelle and Laurent, but his heart gets the best of him in the end.

This Sunday’s all-new episode titled “Alouette” which means Lark, is directed by Daniel Percival and written by Jason Richman and David Zabel.

"“Daryl, Isabelle, Laurent, and Sylvie face trouble on the road toward The Nest.”"

The episode jets off with Daryl and his new French traveling companions as they start off on their journey to transport the empath Laurent to The Nest. This is where he can be trained and guided to revive the humanity in France.

If you were looking to learn more about Isabelle, you are going to heavily enjoy this stand-out episode, as she epitomizes strength and perseverance. The more this group travels across France the more fanatically deranged it becomes.

Though there are some similarities to HBO’s The Last of Us, it becomes an out-of-this-world adventure that you will never see coming. Those who have been dying to see Adam Nagaitis are in luck, because this is when he appears as Quinn.

Quinn is a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub (which you will see in future episodes). In between watching Isabelle’s tragic yet intriguing story, you will get to see Daryl thrust into another group’s world.

Being a fish out of water doesn’t even begin to cover it and he is still being forced to connect with this group of religious people he has no business being around. What this episode does offer the audience is pure comedy.

Daryl has to adapt to these people, along with fresh faces they meet along the way on their path to deliver Laurent to his true destiny. Here are some pictures from AMC of “Alouette” that will have you looking forward to Sunday’s episode.
