AMC: The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live arriving in February 2024
It might only be 30 seconds, but the newest teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live reveals so much more than most realize. The next The Walking Dead spinoff, which is set to air next year, will be focusing on two heroes audiences haven’t seen in some time: Rick and Michonne.
Many had hoped that more information would be released about this epic of a TV show at this year’s New York Comic Con and AMC delivered. The new teaser not only revealed that the show would be airing in February 2024 but also some big changes for Rick.
If you watch the teaser closely and on repeat, it does look like our main protagonist is missing part of his arm and hand. For those who follow the comics The Walking Dead TV show is based upon, this is a huge, albeit unfortunate moment for the Sheriff of King County, Georgia.
For some time, fans thought this fate would translate onto the AMC television show, but it never did. In fact, several characters have met a similar fate including Merle and Aaron, replacing their limbs with cool and necessary weaponry.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: Rick and Michonne’s everlasting love
If Rick indeed suffers this injury, how and when did this happen? He still had all his limbs when we see him in the last moments of The Walking Dead series finale.
There was one more thing worth mentioning from this teaser. We can safely say that all of the Richonne fans collectively let out a cry of excitement and awe when we hear Rick confess that he still loves Michonne.
The Walking Dead has often proved that regardless of the situation or how much time has passed, when it comes to true love, it never dies. Family, love and hope are the only glimmers of hope our characters have in such an unpredictable and often cruel world.
We’d love to know what you thought of the teaser and when do you think TWD: The Ones Who Live will be airing in February.
