Paramount Plus cancels (another) TV show after 2 seasons

It wasn’t that long ago that we were discussing the cancelation of two TV shows from Paramount Plus. Both Fatal Attraction (the TV show, not the 1987 film) and Rabbit Hole were canceled after one season and now it seems another TV show has been canceled by the streaming platform.

The crime drama Joe Pickett has officially been canceled after two seasons. Starring Michael Dorman as the main character, Joe Pickett was based on a series of books written by C.J. Box.

From what we can gather from Variety, the reason for the cancelation is currently unknown. Upon visiting Rotten Tomatoes, the TV show garnered a 100% on the Average Tomatometer and an Average Audience Score of 78%.

Upon more searching we found IMDb gave Joe Pickett a 7.7 out of 10 stars based on almost 9,000 ratings! This is baffling!

Countless TV shows would love to have such high ratings! How could a show with this high ranking amongst viewers and critics be canceled?

Joe Pickett has fallen victim to the Paramount Plus cancelation pile which also includes Star Trek: Prodigy and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. This latest cancelation may be heartbreaking for some, but there is still plenty to watch on Paramount Plus.
