Ke Huy Quan has been inescapable lately and we’re more than happy about that! From humble beginnings as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom to Data in The Goonies to more recent projects like Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once and Jamie Yao in American Born Chinese, Quan has been taking the world by storm and stealing the hearts of devoted fans along with it!

Just recently Quan starred in Loki season 2 as the literal mind behind the TVA, Ouroboros, or O.B for short. His intellect, wit, and unintentional humor made him a delight to watch week after week, especially during his scenes with Tom Hiddleston (Loki).

O.B often found himself in the middle of trying to solve the issue of the temporal loom being able to withstand the constantly new branches in time. Now that Loki season 2 has concluded, what’s next for Quan?

What’s next for Ke Huy Quan?

Upon speaking to Therese Lacson of Collider, Quan shared that he hopes “to join the Star Wars family.” He added, “That’s another wish list of mine. But honestly, I’ve been very lucky. I’ve been very lucky.”

Quan couldn’t contain his excitement about the prospects of joining the Star Wars universe that he asked, Kathleen Kennedy herself. “I was shameless when I saw Kathy! I went up to give her a big hug. And I said, “Kathy, Kathy, please put me in the Star Wars universe!”.”

It is unknown if or when we’ll see Quan in a future Star Wars project. According to IMDb, Quan’s next project seems to be The Electric State which is in post-production.
