Disney Plus: The Muppets Mayhem will not be renewed for season 2
The Muppets can’t seem to find their footing, as news has spread that The Muppets Mayhem has been canceled after one season. The Disney Plus show, which received an Average Tomatometer score of 86% and an Audience Score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, can be added to this year’s ever-growing list of TV show cancelations from several streaming platforms.
The show, which consisted of 10 episodes, starring Tahj Mowry, Anders Holm, and Lilly Singh, told the story of how The Electric Mayhem Band were finally going “to record their first-ever studio album.” But even with the high scores, including an 8 out of 10-star rating on IMDb, it wasn’t enough to keep the show going.
