Young Sheldon and Bob Hearts Abishola

2024 is going to be a year of change for CBS. Not only will we see hit dramas Blue Bloods and SWAT come to an end, but CBS has also announced that its hit comedies Young Sheldon and Bob Hearts Abishola will each be ending their run in 2024 as well.

The two Chuck Lorre comedies have been staples on the network’s lineup for several years, but after careful consideration, CBS has chosen to bring the two hit series to an end with their upcoming seasons.

While it’s not yet known how many episodes the fifth and final season of Bob Hearts Abishola will consist of, we do know Young Sheldon‘s seventh and final season will consist of 14 episodes.

CBS’s decision to end both shows in 2024 is one that has surprised many as it marks the end of an era for Lorre who has had at least one comedy airing on CBS since 2003. At this time, CBS has not picked up any new projects from Lorre which has many wondering what could be next for the prolific creator whose former hits include The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and Two and a Half Men.
