Netflix: Bridgerton fans rejoice, Season 3 is returning next year!

For Bridgerton fans, one of the biggest questions regarding season 3 has finally been answered. In an incredible teaser, filled with scenes from the popular Netflix romantic period piece drama series, and tweets regarding the show, it’s been revealed that season 3 will be split into two parts.

Season 3 part 1 will be airing on May 16, 2024 and part 2 will be airing on June 13, 2024. From what we already know and have discussed before, season 3 will focus on the pairing of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.

Sorry Benedict fans, you’ll have to keep waiting to see if the artistic and wise Bridgerton brother will find love. From what we can gather from social media alone, we aren’t the only ones practically screaming from the rooftops with excitement over this pairing most are naming; Polin!

This pairing has been a long time coming, as Penelope has been madly in love with Colin for years and could never seem to move past the friendship zone, quite literally. Colin has been incredibly blind to the fact that Penelope’s feelings for him run deep and how she, above everyone else, has always cared for him.

Although, these affections have caused her to meddle in the form of her Lady Whistledown gossip writing. Which if we recall from the season 2 finale, had serious and heartbreaking repercussions in the form of Penelope and Eloise’s strong friendship coming to an end.

We don’t even want to think what could happen if Colin discovers Penelope’s secret and suddenly becomes enraged over her involvement of ruining his relationship with Marina. While we wait for season 3, we’ll relive every romantic, tragic and dramatic moment by watching Bridgerton seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix.

Oh, and we’ll probably watch Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story as well for good measure.
