Jackie Price was at the top of her life, and that was all thanks to the escape she made almost 20 years ago. She wasn’t always a hot-shot art dealer; on the contrary, she swam in very dangerous waters before saying goodbye to the gangster life for good. Unfortunately, Jackie’s life takes a drastic turn in Kill Jackie episode 1, and she ends up being on the run.

So, before diving into the aftermath of her warehouse’s destruction, Kill Jackie episode 2 takes us down memory lane. Jackie was in the drug business 20 years ago, but then she wanted out. She goes to meet someone who looks like he runs the business. However, when Jackie confesses she wants out, he isn’t very understanding.

He communicates with someone on the phone who is waiting for him to take Jackie out. Fortunately for Jackie, she’s quicker than the men, and she blasts everyone with a shotgun before running out. However, as she approaches her car and texts someone to get her, she’s shot by a mysterious man from behind.

Jackie is on the run

Fast-forward to the present day, and Karenina calls Jackie to gloat about blowing up her warehouse. They have an awkward conversation that ends with Karenina sending her an awful video of Billy being killed by one of the Seven Demons. Jackie is visibly grieved by Billy’s death, but she has more urgent matters to attend to.

The gang arrives at a safe house that Jackie set up almost 20 years ago. It has everything for emergencies, including a panic room, which Sam looks like he clearly needs. Since Jackie knows she needs people she can trust, she tells Sam she used to be a high-end coke dealer. She dealt with Europe’s most exclusive and expensive coke brand, which made her an insane amount of money.

Sam is shocked to hear he represented a gangster. He’s worried his reputation will be tarnished for life, but Jackie insists they have more pressing matters to deal with, like the Seven Demons. Jackie hands Charlie a journal she stole from Mr. Lindon’s office and tasks her with finding the relevant names on the list. She then asks Sam to find out how much money she has so they can plan their next move.

Somewhere, the first demon after Jackie has grabbed Tucker and plans to kill him if he doesn’t do what he says. Before things get heated, Karenina arrives and orders the Demon to get into her van. Karenina suggests she hack into the police system so they can locate Jackie, which is a much cleaner way of doing things than hunting for her in broad daylight.

Back at the apartment, Jackie tells Charlie and Sam to sit tight and stay safe because she spent a lot of time hiding here herself. She takes a gun and tells the gang that she’ll call in favors from some people to get them out of here. As she drives away, Tucker calls Jackie from Karenina’s van.

He pretends to have narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt by the Seven Demons. Tucker asks Jackie for money because he had to flee without preparation. Jackie doesn’t believe him at first, but he convinces her to meet at a crowded place in Bilbao so she can feel at ease. When Jackie tries to stall, Tucker offers to help her find the name behind the hit on her because he shares the same clientele as Lindon. Jackie hesitates, but the temptation of finding out the culprit gets the better of her, and she agrees.

Jackie goes for help to a man named Markel. Apparently, his father did business with Jackie when she was in the coke business, and she has been using his family’s port to move art. She asks for help, but the man is upset that someone blew up his port and that Jackie’s past has finally caught up with her. She argues that something came up, or she wouldn’t be here.

Jackie reminds Markel of the business she has brought his family for the past 20 years, and now she needs a bit of a favor. Jackie asks Markel to get two civilians out of Bilbao safely and give her a local cop who can easily be bribed. Markel agrees, but he does say that he’s worried about Jackie because she has the Seven Demons on her back. Jackie appreciates the gesture, but she makes it clear that no one will ever get in her way.

Back at Jackie’s apartment, Sam finds out that her account is empty and panics. Charlie reassures him that everything is going to be fine and opens the nearby drawer to take drugs to calm her mind. However, she finds something odd inside: a fetal ultrasound and a positive pregnancy strip. As Charlie investigates the contents, Sam inquires how she and Jackie met.

Charlie remembers she used to swim, and Jackie was her secret sponsor who donated to needy kids. Charlie’s an orphan, and Jackie saved her life by taking her in. But as she talks about this part of her life, Charlie can’t help but feel a glimmer of hope when she sees the pregnancy strip. Her expressions convey that she’s trying to justify the coincidence of Jackie’s secret pregnancy and her being specifically involved in Charlie’s orphanage.

Jackie takes out her first target

Jackie knew if push came to shove, people after her would definitely try to cut her off from her money. That’s why she moved her funds to a secret bank called ‘Poltergeist’ located somewhere in Iceland. They have hidden data centers that manage the clients’ funds, but for very special ones, they also offer courier service. Meaning, Jackie can pretty much order anything from anywhere in the world, and the Poltergeist will deliver it to her.

As a follow-up to her request to the bank, Jackie immediately receives a package from a mysterious rider containing her favorite biscuits and a hard drive. The hard drive will be used to block out Karenina’s spyware, and then later, all three of them will board a cargo ship to Tangiers. But before that, Charlie will have to help Jackie survive her meeting with Tucker.

Jackie and Charlie later meet up with the local police guy she bribed. They talk about how Karenina has blocked all her cards, but it's best she throw away anything that can be tracked. However, Charlie argues she should keep her ‘Bilbaoristers’ loyalty card as a memento, but Jackie tells her to dump everything.

At the apartment, Sam plays dress-up with Jackie’s scarves and guns. He pretends to be a gangster but ends up shooting flammable products that eventually activate the sprinklers. He leaves the apartment and tries to call Jackie, but she doesn’t pick up. However, he ignores Jackie’s advice to stay put and makes his own way to the British Embassy.

At the meeting place, Tucker is carefully placed on a bench with demon number one close by and Karenina keeping an eye out for Jackie. The security guard leads Charlie to the system, where she uses the drive to hack into the surveillance system. Unfortunately, before Charlie can assist Jackie, she’s flagged by Karenina, who puts the demon on her tail.

The tension builds as Jackie waits for Charlie’s signal with an assassin on her back, and she nearly gets caught, but the drive comes through just in time. Jackie’s face shows up near the food stand on Karenina’s screens, and she tells the demon to confront her there. However, when the demon arrives at the spot, he doesn’t see Jackie. Karenina is confused, and it takes her a minute to realize that her system has been compromised.

Jackie uses the distraction to rescue Tucker, but she isn’t very happy with his backstabbing. Tucker argues that he was cornered, but if she saves him, he will serve her well. Unfortunately, before Jackie can make a move, Charlie informs her that Sam has left the apartment and is headed to the Square, where she and the demon are.

Karenina also picks up Sam’s location and orders the demon to get him instead. A naïve Sam falls into the trap, and the demon holds him at gunpoint. Luckily, Jackie arrives in time and doesn’t even hesitate for a split second to shoot the demon right in the head.

Back at Jackie’s apartment, Sam is traumatized and accuses Jackie of using him as bait. She argues she saved his life, but he thinks she did it just for the thrill. She could have killed Sam, but she took the shot anyway because she was enjoying winning. Sam says very hurtful things to Jackie, and she leaves.

Jackie later calls an acquaintance of hers named Debbs to ask about the calls she made from the stolen journal. Debbs tells her that only one number stood out, and it belonged to a man named Sean Harper, and everything just clicks for Jackie. He was one of the clients to whom Jackie denied a painting in episode 1 because she didn’t like his manners. He even threatened to get back at her for her mistake.

In an intercut scene, a woman with an eyepatch and a dog named The Doc arrive at Sean’s place. She confirms her identity and Sean’s contract with the Seven Demons to kill Jackie Price. The Doc informs Sean that he didn’t need to take it up with her boss, and he will have Jackie’s head even if it meant she took it herself.

At the docks, Charlie buys coffee for the gang, and Jackie tells her she’s staying behind to deal with the problem at hand. However, Charlie insists she also stay behind and help Jackie, but Jackie tells her they are in this mess because of her. Charlie forgot to sever ties with the clients and didn’t use the burner phone. Sean got Leo’s number from the SIM, and that’s how it all started.

Charlie is heartbroken, but before she leaves, she plucks up the courage to ask Jackie if she was her daughter and shows her the pregnancy stick. Jackie’s taken aback, but she quickly regains her composure and acts like Charlie just said the most outrageous thing in the world. She denies her claim, and Charlie runs off crying.

Jackie feels bad about making Charlie cry, but before she can go after her, she receives a text from Bilbaoristas about loyalty points, and it hits her. She runs after Charlie to warn her, but before she can get to her, a knife pierces through her stomach. Someone stabbed her from behind, and she fell; Charlie could see only the tattoo on her killer’s leg. The man flees the scene and gets into Karenina’s van.

Jackie runs to Charlie, and the latter only mutters, "Keep the faith," as her last words, and dies on the spot. Jackie is shocked, and she cries hysterically. Sam tries to take her away, but Jackie lies on top of Charlie’s body and cries.
